COVID-19 Hunger and Survival Campaign

Problem

In India, 190.7 million people go hungry every day, 3,000 children die every day because of malnutrition. It is hard to explain the conditions of poor people, during the outbreak of COVID19, who can’t afford to buy food or go for work to make both ends meet.

We are running out of time, as poor man’s health is deteriorating day by day, and they are marginalized to dark corners ,as they survive somehow, with days numbered. Tulips foundation raises hands to actively participate in finding a solution to this present crisis by connecting fund providers and volunteers.

Washing hands only rinses off dirt, but Corona viruses are microscopic, they need chemical treatment with sticky nano-particles, to destroy viruses present in fingerprints.

Face shields are the most effective method in stopping the viral spread. While wearing a face shield it should extend to below the chin, cover the ears, and “there should be no gap between the forehead and the shield’s headpiece.

The hand sanitizer gel has a 2.25-millimetre lamination with moisture and oxygen-carrying properties, designed to overcome contamination.

Face masks are recommended in an attempt to stop the further spread of corona-virus, our initiative is to raise awareness and distribute to needy.

Regular washing by liquid soaps is important as the virus tends to be alive from hours to more than a day on various surfaces that are regularly touched with hands.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)  is required for doctors and medical staff who are treating COVID19 patients. PPE consists of a mask, eye shield, shoe cover, gown, and gloves that doctors wear while treating patients.

Migrants are struggling for livelihood, and they temporarily alive. They are neglected by the local people and are forced to leave for their native places, during the outbreak of COVID-19. Many of the migrants are however stuck at city or district borders.

In India, students rely on the two meals they get during the school day. But with schools closed indefinitely, many of these kids are helpless and hungry.

Tulips Foundation are the trusted partner in channelizing for hundreds of donors and institutions.

And the poor and destitute people are listed, and supported, as we slowly regroup from the lock-down. Tulips intents to participate in long term food security, public health and re-build needy people’s livelihood.

What we do

The essential food kit supply to needy is provided by Tulips.

Goal

Help those below poverty line families , migrants, orphans, destitutes and differently abled people, and also getting ready to tackle the consequences of COVID19 outbreak in 2020.
